For purposes of this chapter, the following words shall have the following meanings:
"Entertainment"
shall include, but is not limited to, any act, play, review, pantomime, scene, movie, song, dance act, song and dance act, exhibition, dancing for compensation, or poetry recitation, performed for the benefit of the public, either at a private or public establishment. "Entertainment" as used herein does not include mechanical music alone.
"Entertainment promoter"
shall mean an individual or organization who uses the facilities of another owner to organize, oversee, or otherwise promote entertainment. When more than one promoter is involved in promoting one event, they shall decide among themselves which ones shall be considered the entertainment promoter for the purposes of this chapter.

In addition to the information prescribed by the Director, the application for an entertainment license shall include the information required in Section 5.40.020.

1. 
Manager Required. Any entertainment establishment shall have a responsible person on the premises to act as manager and supervise employees at all times during which the entertainment establishment is ongoing.
2. 
Attire of Customers. No person shall enter, be or remain in any business establishment licensed pursuant to this chapter, except when attired in such a manner that the pubic area, private parts and the crease of the buttocks are completely covered and not visible to the human eye.
3. 
Obscene Performances Prohibited. No entertainment, for which a license is required by this chapter, may be conducted in which any person participating performs any lewd or obscene acts which are prohibited under the California Penal Code or the state Alcoholic Beverage Control Act.
4. 
Other Requirements. The requirements set forth in subsections (5) through (14) of Section 5.40.030 shall be operating requirements of the entertainment establishments and entertainment promoters.
