For purposes of this chapter, the following words shall have
the following meanings:
"Chicken"
means any member of the Gallus gallus domesticus subspecies.
"Pygmy goat"
means a doe or buck commonly referred to as a pygmy goat,
African Pygmy Goat, Nigerian Dwarf goat, or Cameroon Dwarf Goat, which
stands no higher than twenty-three and one-half inches at the shoulder
and weighs no more than seventy pounds.

The aggregate number of pygmy goats, dogs, or pygmy pigs, as
allowed by Title 10 of the Los Angeles County Code, kept at any residence
shall not exceed three.
All animals shall be licensed as required by Title 10 of the
Los Angeles County Code.

An identification tag must be attached to a harness, collar,
or other device and worn by the pygmy goat at all times. The tag must
clearly state the owner's name and phone number.

Violations of this chapter are subject to the administrative penalty provisions of Chapter
1.08 of this code.
