A.
There
is hereby adopted by reference, except as provided in this chapter,
that certain fire code known and designated as the Los Angeles County
Fire Code, Title 32 of the Los Angeles County Code, including all
appendixes thereto and changes made by the county of Los Angeles,
as adopted by the county of Los Angeles on January 31, 2023, which
incorporates and amends the 2022 California Fire Code, including all
changes adopted by the county of Los Angeles and by the city of La
Cañada Flintridge, and such code shall be and become the fire
code of the city which prescribes the minimum fire code requirements
for fire and life-safety issues.
B.
A copy
of Title 32 of the Los Angeles County Code, which is referenced as
the "2023 County of Los Angeles Fire Code (Title 32)" is on file in
the office of the city clerk for public record and inspection.
C.
If there
is any inconsistency between any provisions of Title 32 of the Los
Angeles County Code and other provisions of this municipal code, such
other provisions of this municipal code shall prevail.

All parcels within the city limits are hereby designated as
being within the "very high fire hazard severity zone."
