The revenue derived from all money acquired by gift, devise,
bequest and moneys transferred to such fund by the City Council, but
specifically excepting money derived from the city tax levy, other
than funds transferred by the City Council to the library trust fund
for the purpose of the library, shall be apportioned to a fund to
be designated the "library trust fund," and shall be applied for the
purpose authorized in Chapter 2.16.
