This article is adopted to implement Section 1203.1(c) of the Penal Code concerning persons incarcerated as a term of probation or a conditional sentence.

The daily incarceration rate per inmate shall be the same as the approved State Jail Rate for each fiscal year. The State Jail Rate is based upon the actual costs of housing inmates at the Rio Cosumnes Correctional Center. These costs include the cost and amortization of buildings and equipment, food, medical care, correctional officers' compensation, clothing and bedding.

The County officer responsible for the collection of moneys ordered paid to the County pursuant to Section 1203.1(c) of the Penal Code is the County Financial Evaluation Officer, the Revenue Collection Manager of the Office of Revenue Reimbursement. Funds received from such charges shall be deposited into the general fund of the County treasury.
