The intent and purpose of this chapter is to provide and establish the methods and form of amending and adding to the zoning code, Official Zone Map, and zone classifications.

A. 
Upon the adoption of any amendment or addition to the zoning code, or upon the repeal of any of its provisions, the city clerk shall certify thereto and shall make an appropriate notation in the various volumes of the zoning code of the rendering of such action, noting thereon the numbers of the ordinances pursuant to which such action is rendered and the date of adoption. Duly certified copies of every ordinance making changes in the zoning code shall be filed in the office of the city clerk in books for such purpose, duly indexed for ready reference. The city clerk shall also prepare printed copies of such changes in the zoning code for insertion in the looseleaf copies thereof.
B. 
Every chapter, section and/or subsection so changed shall have printed thereon, immediately following the end of the content thereof, a parenthetical notation of the ordinance number and date pursuant to which such change is adopted.
C. 
At least once yearly, the city clerk shall cause the looseleaf pages of the zoning code in which changes have been made, to be reprinted, including the notation as to the ordinance number and date pursuant to which such change is adopted, in order that at least once yearly the looseleaf copies of the zoning code prepared for the use and convenience of the officers and employees of the city and the general public may be brought up to date. In addition, each looseleaf page so reprinted, after the initial first printing, shall contain therein in the lower righthand corner an editor's parenthetical notation of the date of such reprinting thereof, e.g., "(Pico Rivera 3-15-76)." In the case of repealing any provision of the zoning code, only the editor's notation of the date of reprinting shall appear on any reprinted page of which a portion or all has been repealed.

All adopted ordinances enacting a zone reclassification shall also include the enactment of an amendment and/or addition to the Official Zone Map, and the Official Zone Map shall bear a nomenclatured legend thereon of such amendment or addition by a notation of the ordinance number and date pursuant to which such amendment or addition is adopted. The city clerk shall maintain a copy of the Official Zone Map, and shall certify thereon as to the amendment or addition so made.

All adopted ordinances enacting a zone reclassification shall also include the enactment to the zoning code by adding to this section the various subsection, placing property in the following appropriate category of zones, et seq.:
A. 
Additions to O-S Zone. Notwithstanding any other provisions of this title, the following described land within the city of Pico Rivera is placed in the O-S (Open Space) zone district:
B. 
Additions to R-E Zone. Notwithstanding any other provisions of this title, the following described land within the city of Pico Rivera is placed in the R-E zone:
C. 
Additions to S-F Zone. Notwithstanding any other provisions of this title, the following described land within the city of Pico Rivera is placed in the S-F zone:

Notwithstanding any other provisions of this title, the following described land within the city of Pico Rivera is placed in the S-F (single-family) zone district, and further designated herein as Zone Reclassification 98-297. Attachment "A," map/legal description titled Zone Reclassification 98-297, made a part hereof.
D. 
Additions to R-I Zone. Notwithstanding any other provisions of this title, the following described land within the city of Pico Rivera is placed in the R-I Zone:

Zone Reclassification 99-300: Attachment "A," mapped/legal description titled Zone Reclassification 99-300, made a part hereof.
E. 
Additions to PUD Zone. Notwithstanding any other provisions of this title, the following described land within the city of Pico Rivera is placed in the PUD zone:

Notwithstanding any other provisions of this title, the following described land within the city of Pico Rivera is placed in the PUD (planned unit development) zone district, and further designated herein as Zone Reclassification 97-295: Attachment "A," map/legal description titled Zone Reclassification 97-295, made a part hereof.
F. 
Additions to R-M Zone. Notwithstanding any other provisions of this title, the following described land within the city of Pico Rivera is placed in the R-M zone:

Additions to Civic Center Zone. Notwithstanding any other provisions of this title, the following described land within the city of Pico Rivera is placed in the Civic Center zone:

Additions to P-A Zone. Notwithstanding any other provisions of this title, the following described land within the city of Pico Rivera is placed in the P-A zone:

Additions to C-N Zone. Notwithstanding any other provisions of this title, the following described land within the city of Pico Rivera is placed in the C-N zone:

Additions to C-C Zone. Notwithstanding any other provisions of this title, the following described land within the city of Pico Rivera is placed in the C-C zone:

Additions to C-G Zone. Notwithstanding any other provisions of this title, the following described land within the city of Pico Rivera is placed in the C-G zone:

Additions to CPD Zone. Notwithstanding any other provisions of this title, the following described land within the city of Pico Rivera is placed in the CPD zone:

In accordance with Section 18.66.040 of the Pico Rivera Municipal Code, the zone classification of the herein described real properties at the southwest corner of Paramount and Whittier Boulevards and north of Fishman Road as shown on Attachment "A", are hereby placed in the CPD (Planned Commercial Development) zoned district, and further designated as Zone Reclassification No. 98-296.
Said zone reclassification to be in accordance with the provisions of the Zoning Ordinance heretofore adopted by the city council of the City of Pico Rivera by Ordinance No. 534, adopted April 7, 1975.
M. 
Additions to C-M Zone. Notwithstanding any other provisions of this title, the following described land within the city of Pico Rivera is placed in the C-M zone:

Additions to I-L Zone. Notwithstanding any other provisions of this title, the following described land within the city of Pico Rivera is placed in the I-L zone:

Additions to I-G Zone. Notwithstanding any other provisions of this title, the following described land within the city of Pico Rivera is placed in the I-G zone:

Additions to IPD Zone. Notwithstanding any other provisions of this title, the following described land within the city of Pico Rivera is placed in the IPD zone:
