For the purpose of this Title, a motor truck is a motor vehicle over 20 feet in length or exceeding a maximum gross weight limit of four and one-half (4 1/2) tons designed, used, or maintained primarily for the transportation of property; and a "trucking combination" is any combination of vehicles designed, used, or maintained for the transportation of property coupled together exceeding a maximum gross weight limit of four and one-half (4 1/2) tons or a total length of 20 feet.
A through motor truck or trucking combination is any motor truck or trucking combination as hereinbefore defined, entering this City from any point outside of the City and destined for any other point located outside the City of San Leandro.

(a) 
Through Trucks: When authorized signs are in place giving notice thereof, it shall be unlawful for the operator of a through motor truck or trucking combination to operator stop, stand or park such through motor truck or trucking combination on any streets or highways in this City other than those streets or highways listed in this title or the Traffic Code as Through Truck Routes.
(b) 
Local Trucks: When authorized signs are in place giving notice thereof, it shall be unlawful for the operator of a local motor truck or trucking combination, excepting therefrom garbage or refuse collection vehicles owned by the City of San Leandro or operated pursuant to franchise granted by the City of San Leandro, to operate, stop, stand or park on any streets or highways in this City other than the streets or highways listed in the Traffic Code as Local Truck Routes.
