All day parking shall be permitted in areas so designated in those portions of city parking lots depicted on Exhibit "A" attached to the ordinance codified in this section and so identified and marked as "All Day Parking" upon portions of such exhibit.

Twenty-minute, one-hour, 2-hour and 3-hour parking shall be limited to and permitted in those certain portions of public streets so delineated on Exhibit "B," both of which Exhibits "A" and "B" are hereby incorporated herein for all purposes.[1]

No vehicle shall be stopped, left standing or parked in or on any city owned or maintained parking facility other than in the confines of a single parking space so marked and delineated therefor, unless the size or shape of such vehicle makes parking within such single space physically impossible.

A. 
Definitions:
"Oversize vehicle"
is any vehicle, motorized or non-motorized, that exceeds 25 feet in length, or exceeds 7 feet in width, and/or exceeds 7 feet in height, including any load thereon. Oversize vehicles shall include all buses, truck tractors, semi-trailers, motor trucks, trailers, campers, camp trailers, house cars, trailer coaches, and other equipment or machinery in excess of the above length, width, or height measurements.
"Residential district"
shall mean all residential zones as the same are set forth in the City of Oroville Zoning Ordinance.
B. 
Except when otherwise prohibited, oversize vehicles may be parked or stored on private property in all yard areas except the required front yard setback or any side yard abutting a street right-of-way. Semitrailers, camp trailers, campers and/or house cars may be parked on the apron within the required yard setback located between the driveway and the side property line closest to the driveway if:
1. 
The trailer or vehicle does not project over any property line;
2. 
The trailer or vehicle does not block the passage of pedestrians on any public sidewalk;
3. 
The parking or storage area has a paved or graveled surface;
4. 
The area around said trailers and vehicles is kept clean and free of trash, debris and/or parts.
C. 
No person shall park and leave standing upon any street or highway in a residential district for a period exceeding 10 hours:
1. 
Any motor vehicle of a length in excess of 25 feet;
2. 
Any oversized vehicle used or maintained for the transportation of persons for hire, compensation, or profit;
3. 
Any vehicle designed and used or maintained for the transportation of property such as buses, motor trucks, trailers, semi-trailers, trailer coaches or truck tractors and similar vehicles of a width in excess of 84 inches;
4. 
Any item of farm machinery or special purpose machinery.
D. 
No oversize vehicle shall be parked diagonally at any time when the length of the vehicle creates an obstruction to the normal flow of traffic, or which causes a reduction in the width of the normally travelled portion of the roadway.
E. 
The above prohibited vehicles may be parked upon such street or highway while loading or unloading persons and/or property; or when such vehicle is parked in connection with or in aid of, the performance of a service to or on a property in the block in which such vehicle is parked, for a maximum of 10 consecutive hours.
F. 
No person shall park or leave standing on any street or highway in the city any non-motorized vehicle or camper regardless of width or length, when it has been detached from its motor vehicle on any street or highway in the city for a period exceeding 10 hours in any one calendar month.
G. 
No person shall at any time park or leave standing any oversize vehicle on any street or highway in the city within 50 feet of an intersection.
H. 
The violation of this section is hereby declared to be an infraction for which the penalty for a first violation shall be $____________*. For conviction of a second violation within 90 days of a first violation, the penalty shall be increased to $____________*.
