All
street grades in the city shall be established by reference to the
bench mark fixed and established by the United States Geological Survey,
the location of which bench mark is in the vestibule of the County
Courthouse, at the front door thereof, which courthouse is located
on the westerly side of H Street, between Fifth and Sixth Streets.
The elevation of such bench mark is 29.447 feet above low tide.
B.
The
bench mark is fixed and established as the city base for the establishing
of all elevations.
