§ 8-16.01 Adoption of the 2022 California Green Building Standards Code.

The 2022 California Green Building Standards Code is hereby adopted by reference and made part of this Code subject to the following amendments:

Section 202, “Definitions,” is amended to add the following:

Sustainability. Consideration of present development and construction impacts on the community, the economy, and the environment without compromising the needs of the future.
