The Old Harlan Road commercial overlay district is intended for use on specific properties located in the central commercial (CC) district, which are shown on the map contained in Section
17.46.090 of this chapter. This district is intended:
A. To
prevent deterioration and blight of commercially zoned properties;
B. To
allow more flexibility and consideration of commercial uses and activities
to meet the needs of residents and the entire community;
C. To
allow commercial uses and activities in order to stay competitive
with surrounding cities that may desire to accommodate many of these
same uses;
D. To
create opportunities to attract and retain businesses within the city
of Lathrop.

The specified properties in the Old Harlan Road commercial overlay district which are zoned CC central commercial shall include all uses permitted by Section
17.44.030B of this title and the following permitted uses:
A. Automobile
glass (installation and repair);
B. Automobile
smog shops (testing and repair);
C. Automobile
sales (new and used);
D. Automobile
service and repair shops (excluding body and fender work);
E. Automobile
tire sales, service and repair shops;
F. Automobile
upholstery and top shops;
G. Boat,
motorcycle and motorsport sales and service (new and used);
H. Recreational
vehicle and recreational trailer sales and service (new and used);
L. Incidental
and accessory structures and uses located on the same site as the
permitted use;
M. Other uses which are added to this list according to the procedure in Section
17.16.020.

17.44.030C of this title, unless otherwise permitted by this chapter.
