It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to resist or interfere with any officer of the City of Mill Valley in the discharge of his or her duties as such officer, or to rescue or attempt to rescue any person placed under arrest by any officer of the City, or to rescue or attempt to rescue from the custody or possession of any officer of the City any animal or property taken into custody by any officer in the discharge of his or her duties as such officer or in his or her custody or possession as such officer.
