The holidays of the city shall be as follows:

The third Monday in January, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day;
C.
The third Monday in February, Washington's birthday;
D.
The last Monday in May, Memorial Day;
E.
July 4th, Independence Day;
F.
The first Monday in September, Labor Day;
G.
November 11th, Veterans' Day;
H.
The fourth Thursday in November, Thanksgiving Day;
I.
The Friday following Thanksgiving;
J.
December 25th, Christmas Day;
K.
Every day proclaimed by the city council as a public holiday.
