A. 
The connection fee for the service of any newly constructed or altered buildings or for the service of any newly altered buildings or repaired or altered moved buildings both inside or outside the city limits of the city shall be paid to the city public works director or designee in an amount set from time to time by resolution approved by the members of the city council.
B. 
Any person, firm or corporation paying the fee herein imposed shall not be required to pay an additional fee for any subsequent alteration, repair, or remodeling.

The money paid to the finance director pursuant to this article shall be deposited in a separate account to be known as the water facilities acquisition and expansion account, and shall be used solely for the purpose of acquiring water stock, acquiring water, acquiring rights to water, constructing additions to any part of the water system, or improving the water system of the city.

Since the fee collected in this article is deposited in the water facilities acquisition and expansion fund for the purposes set forth therein, the fee is in addition to the connection fee set forth in Chapter 13.04.

A connection fee for each mobilehome space shall be due to the city at the time the first mobilehome occupying such space is connected to the municipal water system at the park outlet provided for this purpose. The fee shall be set from time to time by resolution approved by the members of the city council.

Any person, firm or corporation which owns a mobilehome park when the connection fee is due, and any subsequent owners thereof, shall be liable for the payment of the fee.

The finance director of the city shall collect and receive the money for connection charges prior to the connection being made as provided for in the preceding sections of this article.

Since the fee collected in this article is deposited in the water facilities acquisition and expansion account for the purposes set forth therein, the fee is in addition to the connection fee set forth in Chapter 13.04.
