Pursuant to Government Code Section 24300, the duties of the county agricultural commissioner and the county sealer of weights and measures are combined into one office. The title of that officer shall be county agricultural commissioner/sealer of weights and measures.

Pursuant to Government Code Section 24001, the best interest of the county is served by waiving the requirement that the county agricultural commissioner/sealer of weights and measures be a resident of Inyo County.
