The principal office of the District shall be at 160 Calle Magdalena, Encinitas, California. The office shall be open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on alternating Fridays. The office is closed on alternating Fridays and on holidays observed by the District.

The District’s purchasing of paper will follow the policy of the City of Encinitas, as described in the City of Encinitas Administrative Manual Purchasing and Contract Policy PC02 (Environmentally Preferable Purchasing and Contracting Policy).

The District strongly encourages all employees to take an active role in recycling paper and other waste products generated within the District’s office, as part of a nationwide effort to address the problem of solid waste.
The District urges all employees and departments to consolidate their wastepaper, aluminum cans and newspapers into a central department/division location for weekly pickup by the City’s recycling vendor.
All employees shall make an individual effort to recycle their materials whenever possible, rather than throwing them away.
