Whenever any ordinance of the City designates any one-way street or alley, the Traffic Authority shall place and maintain signs giving notice thereof, and no such regulation shall be effective unless such signs are in place. Signs indicating the direction of lawful traffic movement shall be placed at every intersection where the movement of traffic in the opposite direction is prohibited.

In accordance with the provisions of Section 4-7.601 of this article and when properly signposted, traffic shall move only in the direction indicated upon the following streets and alleys:
(a) 
The alley between Pacific Boulevard and Rita Avenue extending from Florence Avenue to Randolph Street (South Roadway) is hereby designated for northbound traffic exclusively, except the portion of said alley approximately 220 feet in length immediately north of Gage Avenue, which is closed to vehicular traffic.
(b) 
The alley between Pacific Boulevard and Rugby Avenue extending from Florence Avenue to Randolph Street (South Roadway) is hereby designated for southbound traffic exclusively.
(c) 
The north side of Randolph Street between State Street and Wilmington Avenue, namely that portion of Randolph Street lying north of the railroad right-of-way, is hereby designated as and for a highway for eastbound traffic exclusively, except at intersections where the same intersects with other streets in the City.
(d) 
The south side of Randolph Street between State Street and Wilmington Avenue, namely that portion of Randolph Street lying south of the railroad right-of-way, is hereby designated as and for a highway for eastbound traffic exclusively, except at intersections where the same intersects with other streets in the City.
(e) 
Rita Avenue between Randolph Street and Saturn Avenue is hereby designated for southbound traffic exclusively, except at street intersections.
(f) 
Rugby Avenue between Randolph Street and Florence Avenue is hereby designated for northbound traffic exclusively, except at street intersections.
(g) 
Salt Lake Avenue, west of the railroad right-of-way, between Florence Avenue and Walnut Street, is hereby designated as and for southbound traffic exclusively.
(h) 
Salt Lake Avenue, west of the railroad right-of-way, which is easterly of the traffic island and immediately northerly of Florence Avenue, is hereby designated as and for northbound traffic exclusively.
(i) 
That portion of the roadway on Salt Lake Avenue which is immediately east of the railroad right-of-way and immediately south of Florence Avenue, said portion of roadway also being west of the traffic island created by a parcel of Water Department property, is hereby designated as and for southbound traffic exclusively.
(j)

(k) 
That portion of the roadway on Randolph Street (North) which is northerly of the traffic island created by a parcel of the railroad right-of-way and immediately westerly of State Street is hereby designated as and for westbound traffic exclusively.
(l) 
That portion of the roadway on Hood Street which is easterly of the traffic island and immediately northerly of Florence Avenue is hereby designated as and for northbound traffic exclusively.
(m) 
That portion of the roadway on Saturn Avenue which is southerly of the traffic island and immediately westerly of Bissell Street is hereby designated as and for eastbound traffic exclusively.
(n) 
The alley between Santa Fe Avenue and Middleton Street extending from Gage Avenue to Clarendon Avenue is hereby designated for northbound traffic exclusively.
