(a) 
Residential garbage pickup is twice a week. Fifty-five (55) gallon cans are mandatory with each water account with a minimum of one (1) can per account.
(b) 
Commercial garbage is picked up two days a week. Each commercial business is required to have a maximum of two (2) fifty-five (55) gallon cans or a roll-off is required.
(c) 
All trash cans must be removed from street the same day as trash pickup. Trash cans left at curbside will be picked up the following day. A standard fee will be required for the return of the can.

Brush, grass clippings and trash are picked up as needed. Grass clippings, leaves, etc., must be in plastic bags or boxes. Chipper services are provided to both residential and business district. Brush must be in 3x3x3 bundles. There is no preset schedule for pick up. The chipper fee is included on water utility statement.

(a) 
It shall be unlawful for any person, party, individual, corporation, firm, partnership or association, except refuse collectors in the employ of the city, to rummage in or pilfer from garbage cans or garbage bins located and situated within the city limits.
(b) 
Any person, party, individual, corporation, firm, partnership or association who violates any of the provisions of this section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be fined a sum of money not exceeding two hundred dollars ($200.00), and each violation thereof shall constitute a separate offense.
