A. 
It is unlawful for any person to operate, ride or propel any skateboard, roller skates, inline skates, scooter or similar wheeled device on the grounds of any public school, including, but not limited to, any street, sidewalk, pedestrian walkway, playground or parking area therein unless authorized in writing by appropriate school officials.
B. 
Subsection A of this section shall not apply to any peace officer as defined in Section 830 the State Penal Code or to on-duty city parking enforcement officers or to any powered or non-powered wheeled mobility device used by any legally handicapped person.

It is unlawful for any person to enter the grounds, including, but not limited to, any street, sidewalk, pedestrian walkway, playground or parking area therein or any property or buildings of a public school or remain on such grounds or property in violation of posted rules. Any such conduct shall constitute trespass upon school property.
