No person shall carry or possess while participating in any demonstration, rally, picket line or public assembly, any length of lumber, wood, or wood lath unless that object is one-fourth inch or less in thickness and two inches or less in width, or if not generally rectangular in shape, such object shall not exceed three-quarters inch in its thickest dimension. All materials attached to any such wood object must be fastened in such manner that the pointed ends of any metal fastener do not remain exposed. Except for aluminum tubing, metal rods and pipes are prohibited from use and shall not be carried by any person during such demonstration, rally, picket line or public assembly.

No person shall knowingly join or participate in any demonstration, rally, picket line, parade or assembly conducted under permit from the city, in violation of any of the terms of said permit, nor knowingly join or participate in any permitted demonstration, rally, picket line, parade or assembly without the consent of the permittee, nor in any manner interfere with its progress or orderly conduct.

Any person who violates any of the provisions of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punished as provided in Chapter 1.04 of this code.
