The following terms shall have the following definitions when used in this article:
Household membermeans any and all persons who reside in, dwell or inhabit the named parcel at any time during the tax year for which a refund is requested, and, or all parties named as owner or co-owner on the assessor's parcel tax role even if they did not occupy the residence during the tax year for which the refund is requested. Co-owners are considered household members whether or not they reside in the home.
Homeownermeans the owner-occupant of a parcel located within the City of Davis who is listed as the owner on the assessor's parcel tax role, or a resident-owner in a "limited equity housing cooperative" (LEC).
Limited equity housing cooperative (LEC)means a cooperative owned by a non-profit corporation or non-profit housing sponsor, where the resident-owners own the cooperative as an undivided whole, rather than as individual units, with the exclusive right to occupy a specific unit within the cooperative, and, where the resident-owner must be bought out of their ownership to separate from the LEC. For purposes of providing a low income refund of the park tax, an LEC is the functional equivalent of a condominium.
