Six members to be appointed by the mayor with approval of the council. Any members so appointed may be removed by the mayor with the approval of the council;
One member appointed jointly by the Board and by the mayor, with approval of the council. Such member may be removed by the joint action of the Board and mayor, with approval of the council, in the same manner as appointment.

Each member shall serve until such time as the task force shall complete the duties assigned in Section 2.92.080, unless removed as provided in Section 2.92.030. At such time as the task force shall complete its duties, the task force shall be discharged.

Within 15 days after the appointment of the members of the task force, they shall meet and/organize by electing from their members a chair and a secretary who shall hold office until the task force is discharged.

The task force shall hold regular meetings at least once a month, at a time and place selected by majority vote of the entire membership.
The mayor, with approval of the council, shall fill any vacancy occurring among the members which it appoints, and the Board shall fill any vacancy occurring among the members which it appoints and the mayor, with approval of the council, and the Board shall jointly fill any vacancy occurring in the position of the member appointed jointly.
The position of any member who fails to attend, in succession, three or more regular meetings, without the prior approval of the majority of the members of the task force, shall automatically become vacant.
To hold neighborhood hearings throughout the city and County for the purpose of ascertaining public opinion and evaluating recommendations received from the public with regard to the bikeway master plan and to establish priorities for bikeway construction;
To perform such other services relative to the establishment of city and County bikeways as the council or board may direct.

The council and board shall jointly share in the cost of maintaining the task force and shall provide sufficient funds to finance the activities of the task force.
