The Building Official, as defined in Section 9-1.203(c) of this Code, or the authorized representative, may institute procedures for abatement of property upon which graffiti exists. The procedures set forth in the Uniform Housing Code as referenced in Article 4, Chapter 1 of Title 9 of this Code, shall apply to any such abatement. Costs for any abatement performed by, or on behalf of, the City may be recovered by the City from the property owner in accordance with the procedures established in the Uniform Building Code, as adopted in this Code.
