A. 
Any cooperative sober living residence, governed and licensed by the State of New Jersey under N.J.A.C. 5:27 et seq. and as defined therein, shall register the residence, in writing, with the Department of Community Development, by providing the following information:
(1) 
Physical and mailing address (if different) of the residence;
(2) 
General type of treatment/care at the residence;
(3) 
Maximum number of residents residing at the residence; and
(4) 
Sponsoring agency's name, address, phone number, email address and primary contact name.
Any changes to the initial registration information shall be filed immediately upon occurrence.
B. 
Any other registration of the cooperative sober living residence or its residents with any state and/or county agency for emergency preparation purposes and to the extent permitted by law shall also be provided to the Township including any updates in accordance with the applicable state and/or county regulations.
C. 
The registration of a cooperative sober living residence with the Township shall not constitute a zoning approval or any other municipal approval of the facility by the Township.
Violation of any provision of this article shall, upon conviction thereof, be punished by a minimum fine of $100 or a maximum of $2,000 and/or by imprisonment for a term not exceeding 90 days and/or by a period of community service not exceeding 90 days. Each and every violation shall be considered a separate violation. Each day that a violation continues shall be a separate violation.
The provisions of this article shall be enforced by the Department of Community Development.
