This article is adopted pursuant to Connecticut General Statutes §§ 9-189a, 9-190 and 9-192, as amended.

Commencing with the next general statewide election to be held November 2, 2004, and thereafter, the two Registrars of Voters shall be elected to serve for terms of four years each, and until their successors are elected and duly qualified. The terms of the Assistant or Deputy Registrars of Voters shall run concurrently with the terms of office of the Registrars of Voters.
Any vacancy in the office of Registrar of Voters, or Assistant or Deputy Registrar of Voters, shall be filled in the manner prescribed by Connecticut General Statutes § 9-192, as amended.
