Each Supervisor of Walker Township, elected or appointed to office on or after the effective date of this section, shall receive compensation for attending duly advertised general or special public meetings or hearings of the Board of Supervisors, or other meetings authorized by the Board of Supervisors, at the rate of $50 for each meeting attended by such Supervisor, not to exceed $1,875 per year. Such compensation shall be paid in monthly or quarterly installments.
