A.
A certain document, one (1) copy of which was placed on file in the office of the City Clerk, said copy being marked and designated as the International Energy Conservation Code, 2021 Edition, as published by the International Code Council, as amended, be and is hereby adopted as the Energy Conservation Code of the City; and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions, and terms of the International Energy Conservation Code, 2021 Edition, as published by the International Code Council, are hereby referred to, adopted and made part thereof, as if fully set out in this Article with the additions, insertions, deletions, and changes prescribed in this Article.
B.
Jurisdictional Titles Throughout the International Energy Conservation Code, 2021 edition, as published by the International Code Council. Wherever the terms "Name of Jurisdiction" or "Local Jurisdiction" appear, it shall be deemed to mean "City of Dardenne Prairie, Missouri."
C.
Wherever the term "Department of Building Safety" appears it shall be deemed to mean the department consisting of the City Engineer and the Code Enforcement Officer of the City of Dardenne Prairie, Missouri, and such other person or persons as may be designated by the City Administrator.
D.
Wherever the term "Building Official" appears, it shall mean the City Engineer, the Code Enforcement Officer of the City and such other person or persons as may be designated by the City Administrator.
