The number of package goods liquor stores within
the boundary lines of the Township of Florence shall at no time exceed
the number of four, and at no time shall any three such places be
located within the radius of one mile.

A. Plenary retail consumption license. The annual fee
for each plenary retail consumption license shall be as set forth

A. No licensee shall sell, serve or deliver, allow, permit or suffer
the sale, service or delivery of any alcoholic beverage upon or from
the licensed premises except during the hours set forth below:
(1) Plenary retail consumption licenses.
(a)
Monday through Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. the following
morning;
(b)
Sunday from 12:00 noon to 2:00 a.m. the following morning; provided,
however, that a licensee may begin the sale of alcoholic beverages
at 9:00 a.m. if sold in conjunction with prepared food for consumption
on premises (i.e., on-site meals).
(2) Plenary retail distribution licenses.
(a)
Monday through Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.; and
(b)
Sunday from 12:00 noon to 10:00 p.m.
(3) Club licenses.
(a)
Monday through Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. the following
morning; and
(b)
Sunday from 12:00 noon to 2:00 a.m. the following morning.
(4) On New Year's Day plenary retail consumption license and club
licenses may be open from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. the following morning.
B. During the hours that the consumption of alcoholic beverages upon
the licensed premises is prohibited by this chapter, the entire licensed
premises shall be closed to all persons except the licensees or employees
who clean or perform other necessary work in or about the premises
during such prohibited hours; and the entire interior of the bar or
business room or any other room where alcoholic beverages are sold,
delivered or consumed shall be kept open to full view of the public
thoroughfare or from adjacent rooms to which the public is freely
admitted. The closing-of-premises requirement shall not apply to:
(i) club licenses which may remain open for business, except for the
sale, service or delivery of alcoholic beverages, during the hours
prohibited by this chapter; or (ii) hotels, restaurants as defined
in N.J.S.A. 33:1-1t, or to clubs as set forth in N.J.S.A. 33:1-12,
Subsection 5, and State Regulation No. 7.

Any person applying for an administrative background
search in connection with the transfer of any alcoholic beverage license
shall pay to the Township of Florence a fee of $25.
