No person shall drink any alcoholic beverage (as defined in MGL c. 138, § 1) or possess an opened container, full or partially full, of any alcoholic beverage while in or upon any street, sidewalk, park, playground or other public place in the Town, unless pursuant to a special (one-day) alcohol license issued by the Select Board in accordance with MGL c. 138, § 14. No person shall drink any alcoholic beverage (as defined in MGL 138, § 1) or possess an opened container, full or partially full, of any alcoholic beverage while in or upon any private land or place in the Town without the consent of the owner or persons having control thereof.
