Editor's note–Former article A2.000 pertaining to building and construction fees was amended in its entirety and replaced with similar provisions by Ordinance 24-0613D adopted 6/13/2024. (a) 
Single-family (detached and attached) and two-family residential new construction.
(1) 
Plan review fee: $100.00 (nonrefundable fee due with application).
(2) 
Permit fee: $0.80 per sq. ft. of conditioned floor area; $1,000.00 minimum for new construction.
(b) 
Single-family (detached and attached) and two-family residential additions and alterations of conditioned area.
(1) 
Plan review fee: $100.00 (nonrefundable fee due with application).
(2) 
Permit fee: $0.40 per sq. ft. of conditioned floor area; $100.00 minimum.
(3) 
Trades fee: $50.00 per trade for plumbing, electrical, and mechanical work.
(c) 
Multifamily residential new construction.
(1) 
Plan review fee: $0.25 per sq. ft. of conditioned floor area of all units (nonrefundable fee due with application).
(2) 
Permit fee: $0.50 per sq. ft. of conditioned floor area of all units.
(d) 
Multifamily residential additions and alterations of conditioned area.
(1) 
Plan review fee: $0.10 per sq. ft. of conditioned floor area (nonrefundable fee due with application).
(2) 
Permit fee: $0.20 per sq. ft. of conditioned floor area.
(3) 
Trades fee: $0.05 per sq. ft per trade for plumbing, electrical, and mechanical work.

Includes new construction, additions, remodels, and interior finish-outs for commercial, industrial, mixed-use, multifamily residential, and any other type of construction requiring a permit that is not addressed by a fee in this article.
(1) 
Plan review fee: 65 percent of the permit fee (nonrefundable fee due with application).
(2) 
Permit fee: Fee based on value of construction according to the construction value fee schedule in section A2.005.

(a) 
Includes new construction, additions, remodels and interior finish-outs of accessory buildings, including agricultural structures, and remodels and additions of areas not to include conditioned heat and air to single-family and two-family residential dwellings.
(1) 
Plan review fee: $100.00 (nonrefundable fee due with application).
(2) 
Permit fee: $50.00 for premanufactured; $150.00 for constructed.
(b) 
Detached accessory building used as tool and storage sheds, playhouses, and similar uses are exempt from the requirement of a building permit provided the floor area does not exceed 120 sq. ft.

All permit fees based on value of construction shall use the following schedule to determine the fee. Applicants shall provide the actual value of construction on the permit application. However, the town building official will make the final determination of construction value.

Requiring only a single inspection: $50.00.
(c) 
Requiring more than one inspection and not associated with a master building permit: Fee based on value of construction according to the construction value fee schedule in section A2.005.
