No person shall discharge any gun, pistol or other firearm, except upon permit issued by Council, Mayor or Clerk.

It shall be unlawful for any person to discharge or use any slingshot, sling, gravel shooter, air gun, bow, crossbow or similar implement.
It shall be unlawful for any person to throw a stone or other missile in the streets.
If any person carries about his person, hid from common observation, any pistol, dirk, Bowie knife, switchblade knife, razor, slingshot, metal knucks or any weapon of like kind, he shall be fined not less than $20 nor more than $500 and, in the discretion of the Court, may in addition thereto be committed to jail for not more than 12 months, and such pistol, dirk, Bowie knife, switchblade knife, razor, slingshot, metal knucks or any weapon of like kind shall be forfeited to the Town and may be seized by an officer as forfeited, provided that this section shall not apply to any police officers, sergeants, sheriffs, officers or guards of the penitentiary or other institutions or camps of the state corrections system, conservators of the peace other than notaries public or to carriers of United States Mail in the rural districts, or to any collecting officer while in the discharge of his official duty, or such other person who has obtained permission to carry concealed weapons in accordance with the state law.
No person shall sell, barter, give or furnish or cause to be sold, bartered, given or furnished to any minor under 18 years of age a pistol, dirk, switchblade knife or Bowie knife, having good cause to believe him to be a minor under 18 years of age. Any person violating the foregoing provisions of this section shall be fined not less than $2.50 nor more than $100.
No person shall sell or barter or exhibit for sale or for barter or give or furnish or cause to be sold, bartered, given or furnished or have in his possession or under his control, with the intent of selling, bartering, giving or furnishing any blackjack, brass or metal knucks, or like weapons; such person shall be fined not less than $25 nor more than $100. The having in one's possession of any such weapon shall be prima facie evidence, except in the case of a conservator of the peace, of his intent to sell, barter, give or furnish the same.
