The county Treasurer is directed to establish the prosecuting attorney's victim/witness fund, to be used exclusively for the administration of a victim/witness program by the Kittitas County prosecuting attorney. The funds shall not lapse and shall supplement and not supplant any existing funds for the prosecuting attorney.

The prosecuting attorney shall submit an appropriate budget for the victim/witness funds and that the expenditure of the fund shall be subject to the adoption of the budget and approval of the plan by the Department of Labor and Industries.
