[Adopted 7-15-2024 by Ord. No. 2-2024]
The polls in the Village of Cedar Grove, Sheboygan County, Wisconsin, shall be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. for all elections.
There shall be not more than seven nor less than three election officials at the polling place where elections are conducted.
Appointment of election workers shall be in the manner provided by Wisconsin law [presently § 7.30(4), Wis. Stats.].
There shall be two shifts of election workers scheduled at such times as the Clerk deems appropriate.
The Village Clerk shall determine in advance of each election the number of election workers to be scheduled for each shift. This determination shall depend on the number of contests on the ballot, the degree of interest in the election, and the apparent likelihood of a large percentage of voter participation. In no event, however, shall the number of election workers be less than three during each shift. The total number of election workers shall always be an odd number.
