(a) 
No person shall give away any live animal as the following:
(1) 
A prize for or an inducement to enter any contest, game or other competition;
(2) 
An inducement to enter a place of amusement; or
(3) 
An incentive to enter into any business agreement whereby the offer is for the purpose of attracting trade.
(b) 
The prohibition contained in this article shall not apply to a nonprofit association.
