A planning agency for the City is hereby created which shall be known as the Planning and Environment Commission. Wherever in this Code the words "Planning Commission" are used, they shall mean and include the Planning and Environment Commission of the City of Lakewood. The City Council shall, by separate resolution establish and determine the authorized membership, duties in addition to those established by law, and the rules and regulations of the Planning and Environment Commission.
