Retail cannabis dispensaries shall be permitted in accordance with the below regulations:
A. 
Retail cannabis dispensaries shall only be permitted if a Class 5 cannabis retailer license has been approved by the New Jersey Cannabis Regulatory Commission by the effective date of this chapter.[1]

B. 
The maximum number of retail cannabis dispensaries permitted in the Township shall be 18. No additional retail cannabis dispensaries shall be permitted until the number of retail cannabis dispensaries is less than 18. This limitation shall not affect any retail cannabis dispensary that has, as of the effective date of this chapter, been granted an unconditional license from the New Jersey Cannabis Regulatory Commission.
C. 
The hours of operation shall be limited to 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., Sunday through Saturday.
