(a)
The following codes and the standards contained therein are hereby adopted and incorporated herein for all purposes as the minimum building standard codes of the city:
(1)
International Residential Code, 2021 edition, including appendices AA, AB, AC, AH, AJ and AP;
(2)
International Building Code, 2021 edition, including appendices A, B, C, D, F, and I;
(3)
National Electrical Code (NEC), 2023 edition;
(4)
International Fuel Gas Code, 2021 edition, including appendices A, B, C and D;
(5)
International Mechanical Code, 2021 edition, including appendix A;
(6)
International Plumbing Code, 2021 edition, including appendices C, D and E;
(7)
International Energy Conservation Code, 2021 edition;
(8)
International Fire Code, 2021 edition, including appendices A through J and N;
(9)
International Existing Building Code, 2021 edition;
(10)
International Swimming Pool and Spa Code, 2021 edition; and
(11)
International Property Maintenance Code, 2021 edition, including appendix A.
(b)
Where a provision of this chapter conflicts with other provisions of this Code or other provisions within this chapter, the more restrictive provision shall control. A copy of the codes shall be retained on file in the office of the building official.
