A.
The owner, occupant or tenant of premises abutting or bordering on any street in the City shall remove snow and ice from the abutting sidewalks of such street or the abutting right-of-way actually used by the public and from driveways and other vehicle access places as appropriate, including corners and crosswalks, to a minimum width of three feet, so as to provide for convenient passage of pedestrians. The snow and ice removal must be completed within eight hours of daylight following the snow or ice event. In the event of ice which may be so frozen as to make removal impractical, the ice must be thoroughly covered with sand or ashes within eight hours of daylight after the same shall fall or be formed.
B.
The owner, occupant or tenant of premises used by the public or business invitees shall remove all snow and ice from the sidewalks, streets, rights-of-way and parking areas used by the public in the transaction of business. The snow and ice removal must be completed within eight hours of daylight following the snow or ice event. In the event of ice which may be so frozen as to make removal impractical, the ice must be thoroughly covered with sand or ashes within eight hours of daylight after the same shall fall or be formed.
C.
The owner, occupant or tenant of premises used by the public or business invitees shall remove all oil, garbage stains and other soiling substances from the sidewalks, streets, rights-of-way, and parking areas used by the public in the transaction of business thereat within 10 days of discovering same.
