The following measures are required for every site:
1. Erosion Control Measures:
a. Grubbing, stripping, and temporary soil storage shall be confined to the immediate site only.
b. The duration of exposed soils shall be minimized.
c. Exposed soils shall be covered with mulch, erosion control sheeting, temporary seeding or other suitable material at the end of each workday until the area is permanently stabilized.
2. Sediment Control Measures:
a. Run-on from neighboring properties shall be managed or diverted to the extent possible.
b. A sediment fence or other sediment control is required around the limits of construction. Wattles shall be used in front (nearest side to the construction area) of tree protection fences.
c. A gravel construction entrance is required for equipment and vehicle access.
i. Construction vehicle parking shall be limited to the construction entrances or other gravel-stabilized areas.
ii. The construction entrance shall be the only means of site access.
d. All catch basins and other stormwater inlets must be protected from sediment.
e. Neighboring streets must be dry-swept at the end of each workday.
3. Dust Suppression Measures: Sites must reduce dust to the maximum extent practicable using water, covering exposed areas, and phasing.
4. Other ESC measures as required by the City's Engineer.
