Section 120.195 Social Security.

All employees are required to participate in the Federal Social Security System. Social Security participation begins upon appointment with the City.

Section 120.197 Lagers.

The City currently participates in the Missouri Local Government Retirement Systems, known as (LAGERS). Information about LAGERS is provided to all eligible employees.

Section 120.200 Deferred Compensation.

All employees may participate in the City's deferred compensation program. Under this plan, a portion of an employee's pay is deducted from his or her paycheck and transferred for investment to the MissionSquare deferred compensation plans. The deferred compensation is subject to Social Security taxes.
