While the general public may be permitted to access Township buildings during regular business hours, municipal office areas, storage and workstations have been secured and are closed to the public for the purposes set forth in this section, including protecting documents, digital data and other written, copied or printed materials that may contain confidential information that is protected by the federal, state or local laws. These areas include, but are not limited to, municipal office areas in the Township of Cranbury Town Hall, located at 23A North Main Street, and at the Police Station, located at 1 Logan Drive, and at the Department of Public Works Yard, located at 100 Dey Road.
The Township of Cranbury shall post signs outside of restricted areas and offices that read, “Authorized Individuals Only” or “Private” or such other language, in the sole and absolute discretion of the Township of Cranbury, as needed to achieve the level of safety and security needed to permit the Township to maintain and safeguard public records or other Township assets or personal belonging that consist of or contain information deemed confidential or protected pursuant to any federal, state or local laws.
