As used in this chapter, certain words are defined as follows:
PERSON
Includes any individual, firm, company, partnership, corporation or other entity.
TATTOO ESTABLISHMENT
Means any premises or space, where tattooing is practiced or where the business of tattooing is conducted on any part thereof.
TATTOO, TATTOOED or TATTOOING
Means any method of marking or coloring a person's skin with a permanent coloring matter or scarring which is introduced through a puncture of the skin.
No person, in the City, shall operate a tattoo establishment or engage in the practice or business of tattooing.
Whoever violates any provision of this chapter shall, upon conviction in a summary proceeding, be fined not more than $1,000 and costs and, in default of payment thereof, shall be imprisoned for not more than 90 days.
