No owner or operator of any business establishment, which is unattended by a representative of the owner, shall permit such business to remain open to the public between the hours of 10:30 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. the following day, official City time, except that on Fridays and Saturdays the hours shall be from 12:00 midnight to 6:00 a.m.

Any person who violates any provision of this chapter shall, upon conviction in a summary proceeding, be fined not more than $600 and costs of prosecution and, in default of payment thereof, shall be imprisoned for not more than 90 days. Each day's violation of this chapter shall constitute a separate violation thereof.
