The rules, regulations, and standards contained herein may be amended, modified or repealed from time to time by the board of supervisors.

1. 
Proposed amendments must be submitted to the township planning commission for their findings before any further public action is taken, excepting amendments proposed by the planning commission.
2. 
The findings of the planning commission shall be submitted to the board of supervisors in a written report. Failure to submit such report within 60 days calendar days shall be deemed approval by the planning commission.
3. 
Upon receipt of the report of the planning commission, a public hearing on the proposed amendment shall be held, at which time the parties in interest and citizens shall have an opportunity to be heard.
4. 
Notice of the public hearing shall be given by publication of the place, time and reason for the hearing in a newspaper of general circulation in the township at least once each week for two successive weeks prior to the hearing. The first publication shall not be more than 30 calendar days and the second publication shall not be less than seven calendar days prior the date of the hearing.
