A. 
The United States flag, the flag of the State of Wisconsin, the flag bearing the official seal and emblem of Washington County, the POW-MIA flag, and the official flags of the United States branches of the military shall be the only flags permitted to fly on stationary flag poles located on property owned by Washington County.
B. 
Any business or entity that leases Washington County owned property or otherwise operates under such a lease shall not be prohibited from displaying a flag pursuant to and consistent with the terms and conditions of such lease.
Nothing in this article shall be construed as preventing Washington County from complying with any law or other binding mandate requiring a flag to be flown other than as authorized by this article.
Changes to this article shall only occur upon a vote of 2/3 members-elect of the Washington County Board of Supervisors.
