A. 
There is hereby created and established the position of Park Manager, which position shall be a part-time position. The Park Manager, under the direction of the Township Committee, through the Parks and Recreation Committee, shall be responsible for the following at Kingwood Park, 200 Union Road in Kingwood Township:
(1) 
Opening and closing the park.
(2) 
In conjunction with the Parks and Recreation Secretary, schedule public and private events at the park.
(3) 
Ensure that the areas around the park structures are clean and unobstructed.
(4) 
Empty garbage cans as needed.
(5) 
Report to the Parks and Recreation Secretary and the Kingwood Township Department of Public Works Manager any safety issues, any area in the park that needs repair, and any heavy debris that needs to be removed.
(6) 
Monitor general activities in the park.
(7) 
Immediately alert emergency services to all injuries, assaults, vandalism, or major accidents reported to or witnessed by the Manager, occurring within the park.
(8) 
Report any or all injuries, assaults, vandalism, or major accidents reported to or witnessed by the Manager, occurring within the park, to the Parks and Recreation Secretary, the Parks and Recreation Committee, and to the Kingwood Township Committee.
(9) 
Complete accident report forms as needed.
B. 
The Park Manager shall also be responsible for, as directed by the Township Committee, through the Parks and Recreation Committee, assisting with recreation programs at playgrounds, parks, and recreation centers and for the preparation and promotion of exhibits, shows, special events and displays, and any other related activities/work as required.
The Park Manager shall be required to work a minimum of 15 part-time hours per week and shall be required to attend all Parks and Recreation Committee meetings and any other meeting(s) that may be required from time to time at the discretion of the Township Committee.
The Park Manager of the Township of Kingwood shall be provided housing at 200 Union Road, Kingwood Township (the "Property"), the value of which shall be commensurate to the hours required to be worked in the position multiplied by the hourly rate of $33.33. The housing includes payment of utilities and property maintenance. The housing is directly connected to continued employment and acceptable performance in the position. The housing does not contribute to a landlord/tenant relationship and is contingent upon employment in the position of Park Manager with the Township. The Park Manager shall be required to enter into a written agreement with the Township pursuant to this section, which acknowledges the fact that a landlord/tenant relationship shall not be created upon acceptance of employment. Upon separation of employment for any reason, the Property must be vacated on an immediate basis.
