The classification of noncharter code city as provided in the Optional Municipal Code Title 35A, Revised Code of Washington, is adopted as the classification for the government of the city of Centralia, Washington.

The plan of government for the city of Centralia, Washington is reorganized under the council-manager plan of government as provided in the Optional Municipal Code, Title 35A, Revised Code of Washington; provided, however, the commission plan of government shall be retained until the ordinance codified in this chapter becomes effective.
