A. 
The provisions of §§ 125-2 through 125-9 shall be enforced by the Borough Clerk, by the Deputy Borough Clerk, or by a designee named by the Borough Clerk, including but not limited to the duly appointed Animal Control Officer or Entity, who shall have the authority to cite and issue a summons and complaint to any person who violates and/or fails to comply with any of the provisions of §§ 125-2 through 125-9.
B. 
The Chief of Police, or any police officer, shall have the authority to cite or issue a complaint to any person who violates or fails to comply with any of the provisions of §§ 125-20 through 125-29.
Any person convicted after a hearing of violating or failing to comply with any of the provisions of this chapter shall be punished by a fine of not more than $200, in the discretion of the court. Any subsequent violations shall be punished by a fine not to exceed $500. The continuation of such violation for each successive day shall constitute a separate offense and the person or persons allowing or permitting the continuation of the violation may be punished as provided above for each separate offense.
