The allowable use of an individual sewage disposal system shall conform to standards and regulations as established by this Part 2.
Where a public sanitary sewer or combined sewer is not available under the provision of § 390-25, the building sewer shall be connected to a private sewage disposal system complying with all requirements of the County Health Department.
At such time as a public sewer becomes available to a property served by an individual sewage disposal system, as provided in § 390-25, a direct connection shall be made to the public sewer in compliance with this division; and any septic tanks, cesspools, and similar individual sewage disposal system shall be abandoned, removed or filled with suitable material as approved by the County Health Department.
The owner shall operate and maintain the individual sewage disposal system in a sanitary manner at all times, at no expense to the Township.

No statement contained in this article shall be constructed to interfere with any additional requirements that may be imposed by the County Health Department.
