No owner or operator of any auto body repair shop, building, etc. shall do or suffer to be done any business therein between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m.
Said restriction shall apply to any auto body repair shop building, etc. which is located in a residential zoning district as delineated by the city's zoning ordinance.

No person or corporation that owns or operates a car-wash, so-called, in the city shall allow any ice or snow to accumulate in the front of the entrance or exit to such car-wash such that it creates a danger to those driving their vehicles through such facilities.

A. 
No person or corporation shall operate a business for the leasing of any type of motor vehicle on an hourly, daily, weekly or annual basis in the city without first obtaining a license from the committee on safety services.
B. 
For every license granted there should be paid a fee of one hundred dollars ($100.00). No license fee once paid, shall be pro-rated or refunded.
C. 
The committee on safety services and licenses shall have the power under this chapter to issue and prescribe rules and regulations relative to the leasing of motor vehicles not unreasonable nor inconsistent with the purpose and intent of this chapter.

Any person, partnership or corporation selling food products at retail within the city shall at all times have available, for use by the general public, an accurate scale upon which the public can weigh any and all food products which they intend to purchase from the above described retailers.

A. 
Any person or corporation that owns or operates a service station, including self-service stations, within the city shall at all times make available for the use of the general public a supply of air.
B. 
Service stations, including self-service stations, without a supply of air must comply within one year.

A. 
No person, firm, corporation, or association shall hold an "Under 21" license for any premises which has attached thereto a liquor license. An "Under 21" license may issue to any premises where no liquor license is attached provided the following conditions are met:
1. 
All applications for "Under 21" licenses shall be forwarded to the Cranston police department for investigation to determine the background of said applicant or applicants.
2. 
All applications shall also be forwarded to the chief of the Cranston fire department to determine safety of the premises, compliance with state fire codes, and number of occupants allowed in said premises.
B. 
An "Under 21" license is defined as a license designed to attract the under twenty-one (21) age group as clientele, where soft drinks rather than liquor will be served and where entertainment, music, and dancing are usually featured as further attractions.

A. 
The owner of any residential home or property within the city shall not allow more than two yard sales, garage sales or any other similar type sales to be held at said home or property within a given year.
B. 
The items or articles that may be sold at said yard sale or garage sale shall be substantially limited to those which are commonly found within or about the owner's residence and not merchandise which is specifically acquired for the purpose of being sold at a yard or garage sale.
